Not necessarily. A diamond’s sparkle depends mainly on its cut quality, not whether it’s natural or lab-grown. Both types can be equally brilliant if they’re well cut. That’s why at Beldiamond, we only offer diamonds with Excellent or Very Good cut grades — to ensure maximum sparkle.

The Kimberley Process is an international certification scheme established to prevent the trade in conflict diamonds—rough diamonds used to fund violence or armed conflict. It requires that diamonds be traceable and accompanied by official documentation.

At Beldiamond, all our natural diamonds fully comply with the Kimberley Process. We also go further by sourcing only from trusted suppliers who meet our own strict ethical and environmental standards.

The 4C’s — Carat, Colour, Clarity, and Cut — are the globally recognized standards
for evaluating a diamond’s quality and value:

1. Carat: Refers to the diamond’s weight, which often affects its size. Some clients prioritise size; others prefer higher quality — the ideal choice is often a balance between both.

2. Colour: We recommend diamonds graded between D and H, which appear colourless to the untrained eye and offer excellent value.

3. Clarity: We work with diamonds ranging from IF (Internally Flawless) to SI2 (Slightly
Included). We never offer diamonds with inclusions we feel are too visible, even under magnification.

4. Cut: This is the most important factor for sparkle. We only select diamonds with Excellent or Very Good cut grades to ensure exceptional brilliance.

On our website, you’ll mostly find F VS2 and F SI2 diamonds, but we can source other grades on request. We also avoid diamonds with fluorescence and always prioritize eye-clean clarity.

All natural diamonds above 0.30 carat come with a GIA certificate to guarantee their authenticity and quality.

Yes — we’ll guide you in selecting the right balance between size and quality and present you with a curated selection that matches your style and budget.

Yes. All our central gemstones or any gemstone above 0.30 carats come with certificates — GIA for natural diamonds and IGI or HRD for lab-grown diamonds. Each gemstone we sell comes with a certificate that has a serial number. This serial number is laser inscribed inside the gemstone.

We can also provide a certificate for the full jewel upon request.

We work exclusively with 18k gold (available in white, yellow, or rose) and platinum — premium materials chosen for their strength, shine, and lasting elegance.

Yes — engraving is complimentary on all our rings. You can choose between two elegant fonts, and we recommend keeping it under 30 characters for readability (e.g. Alice & Thomas 01-01-2050).

No, we only offer repairs for jewellery that was made by us. This allows us to guarantee the quality of materials and craftsmanship we work with.

Every Beldiamond diamond above 0.30 carat comes with a certificate from a leading gemological institute — GIA for natural diamonds and IGI or HRD for lab-grown ones.

All diamonds have the certificate number inscribed inside the diamond.

We’re fully transparent and happy to share the certificate with you before purchase.

You can return any non-engraved jewellery from our collection within 30 days of delivery, free of charge. The piece must be in perfect condition, with all original packaging and certificates.

Please note: engraved and tailor-made jewellery cannot be returned.

Inside the EU, you pay the local VAT of your shipping country and no duties. Outside the EU, Belgian VAT (21%) is removed — but local taxes or import duties may apply upon arrival, depending on your country.
